PROVINCIAL OR NATIONAL LEVEL INFORMATION
|CANADIAN OCCUPATIONAL PROJECTION SYSTEM (COPS)||HRSDC uses COPS to develop 10-year projections of future labour demand/supply at the national level. COPS focuses on trends underlying demand (such as expansion or replacement) and supply (such as school leavers and new immigrants). The forecast is produced every two years.
COPS projections for a particular industry will show employment, retirements, job openings, and other replacement demand. COPS also produces occupational projections.
JOB MARKET TRENDS AND NEWS
|Presents local and regional labour market events and announcements for the Province which can complement job search and career exploration. The site also includes Labour Market Bulletins for Ontario, which breaks down labour force statistics by industry and region.|
