| CANADIAN OCCUPATIONAL PROJECTION SYSTEM (COPS) | Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) uses COPS to develop 10-year projections of future labour supply and demand at the national level. COPS focuses on trends underlying demand and supply of workers in various occupations. The forecast is produced every two years. COPS projections for a particular occupation will show average age, retirement age, projected job openings, and projected job seekers. COPS also produces projections for various industries as well as particular occupations. |
